Building the UNCAN.eu Ecosystem: Cancer Mission Onboarding Session

On 27 May 2026, the UNCAN-Connect project will host the online Building the UNCAN.eu Ecosystem: Cancer Mission Onboarding Session, bringing together Cancer Mission projects and stakeholders to discuss how digital assets can become part of the evolving UNCAN ecosystem.

Across Europe, Cancer Mission projects are developing valuable digital resources – including datasets, AI models, software, workflows, tools and guidelines. However, many of these assets remain fragmented across projects and infrastructures, limiting their long-term visibility, accessibility and reuse.

UNCAN-Connect aims to address this challenge by supporting the onboarding of Cancer Mission digital assets into the UNCAN.eu platform, helping ensure their sustainability, discoverability and interoperability within a broader European cancer research ecosystem.

The meeting will introduce the UNCAN-Connect project and the vision behind the UNCAN.eu platform, while also providing practical guidance on the onboarding process, metadata submission workflow and onboarding roadmap. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss expectations, interoperability challenges and future collaboration opportunities.
